Description
I got into sewing notebooks some time ago, in the fall of 2024. It’s an incredibly enjoyable process for me – I like to work with paper, and the fact that there are specific steps to follow. My hands work, my head rests. I hope it’ll be just as much enjoyable for you to use it!
I try to use recycled paper to make my notebooks, and if that’s not possible – ecological paper.
This notebook has a cover made of ecological paper, partly made of post-industrial waste from coffee, and the inside is made of paper made of corn waste with a weight of 120. It absorbs ink well (great for pens, crayons or pencils) and provides a light, pleasant resistance when writing – the hand does not slip. A circle glued to the cover is made from paper on which I “paint-cleaned” a roller with oil ink after printing linocuts.
This is a larger notebook, its dimensions are similar to a typical notebook, A5 – 14.5 cm x 20.5 cm. 30 pages.
