Description
Do you remember this moment? It’s summer, a warm morning, probably Saturday. You’re actually still asleep, but you can already feel the sun on your face. Colours, shapes and spots shine through your eyelids. When you try to recognise what it is, you concentrate – you wake up. The series of works with pink and yellow, which I am tentatively calling “Pink Broad Beans”, although it could probably also be “Behind the Eyelids”, is an attempt to capture these shapes. And let it go, because the most beautiful thing was that moment right before waking up.
The original artwork is acrylic painting using mono-printing and stencil-printing techniques. The print keeps the feeling of textures and captures the colours of the original artwork. Printed on a thicker, smooth paper – 200g, satin-finished.
I’m printing my artwork in its’ original sizes or close to them if I see the point in that.
This print is 29.7 x 42 cm and will fit standard frames.
Frame is not included.
Each print will be hand signed.
