Description
The summer sun is up and you’re lying on the sand with your eyes closed. All you can hear is the wind, waves and, yes, seagulls.
It’s all the hand made collage made on beautiful paper that looks like sand. The sun is made of handmade paper from Scotland (as far as I remember), vintage in a sense – I stored it for nearly 20 years. I painted the seagull’s feathers with natural oil ink.
I used beautiful thick (250 g) eco-friendly Crush Corn paper – it’s made from up to 15% residue from organic products (corn in this case) to partly replace virgin wood pulp. Another 40 % of pulp is replaced by recycled paper waste.
The collage is 14,8×21 cm (A5) size.
The ‘Seagull’ collage is the edition of 18 copies, all signed and numbered.
